Welcome to the Skills for Life Network E-News Update

We have several news items with a focus on finance in this edition of the update.

The Lets Talk about Money events draw together the latest information on financial education. The events are are being held across the country in October and are free of charge, but the deadline for applications is the 27th of September, so do hurry if you wish to attend.

NIACE currently have funding to provide free training to support Skills for Life tutors interested in delivering Skills for Life in the context of finance. See the article for full details. You can also find out about funding for financial inclusion available through the Friends Provident Foundation.

Information on the next round of the Skills for Life Improvement Programme (SfLIP) will be available from this Friday 28th September. The info will be sent out to providers by email, and will also be available at www.sflip.org.uk
