Welcome to the Skills for Life Network E-News Update

The North West Professional Development Advice Service (NWPDAS) website is now live. The website features information on Skills for Life professional development programmes in the North West, and information on the new teacher training qualifications, including an interactive route planner. There are also downloadable resources, and the opportunity for providers to market their professional development programmes free of charge via the site. Do take a look at www.nwpdas.org.uk

If you're keen to know more about how to embed ICT Skills for Life within literacy and/or numeracy teaching, you may like to attend one of the free events being held across the country in 2008. More info via the article below.

The Learning and Skills Network (LSN) are holding a series of regional briefings on Functional Skills. The briefings are also available on an in-house basis to organisations able to assure ten or more delegates. More details below.
