New Ofsted report on post 16 teacher training
This newly published report outlines the progress made in implementing workforce reforms in a sample of further education colleges, sixth form colleges and providers of adult, community and work-based learning. The findings reveal several key issues around teachers’ literacy and numeracy skills and around awareness of the need for Skills for Life teachers to hold a subject specialist qualification.
