Welcome to the Skills for Life Network E-News Update

Some points of note in this edition of the e-news update:

Information is now coming in on teacher training and professional development courses starting soon. See the Training and Development section below to find out more.

If you're working in the Welfare to Work sector, you may be interested in the update on the new Work Programme. This will replace the current back to work schemes, and aims to provide a coherent package of support for people out of work. The Government is inviting expressions of interest from the private, public and voluntary sectors to help deliver this. The article 'A welfare system for the 21st century' contains full details.
