The FE Teacher/Trainer Qualifications Review is underway, and you will be able to give your views and comments on the proposed changes via an online questionnaire and at a series of events. Find out more below.

If you're looking to undertake a Level 5 Diploma in Mathematics (Numeracy) or in English (Literacy), take a look at the courses on offer at Selby College. The courses have been designed to be delivered intensively during the half-term holidays. Candidates from as far afield as Cumbria and Kent have successfully completed the course by staying in Selby during these three weeks. See below for more information.

Nominations are now open for the Adult Learners' Week Awards 2013. People can nominate someone they believe deserves recognition for their outstanding learning achievements, whether it is someone they teach, a colleague, friend or relative.

BBC Skillswise - new resources
New Entry 1 and 2 worksheets, factsheets and quizzes and an interactive phonics tool are now available on the BBC Skillswise website.

Ofqual review of ESOL qualifications
This Ofqual consultation is about English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) qualifications and how they will be regulated. Ofqual are proposing changes to the existing ESOL regulations. The consultation covers England and Northern Ireland.
